Cyber Security services company currently experiencing a lot of growth in NSW are expanding their Melbourne business. With opportunities already in Melbourne, they are needing to hire a Business Development specialist, focused on growing their business and footprint in the Melbourne market.
This role would suit somebody who has sold cyber security services on a medium to large scale across industry sectors and wants a role that involves developing new business opportunities end to end. Any experience with Cyber Security Vendors or Managed Services would be preferred. You will need to be experienced, able to hit the ground running and self driven, proactive and results focused.
This is a huge opportunity to be one of the first hires in the Melbourne team with the chance to also have a very strong support network from the rest of the business. With an excellent reputation, the company needs somebody to represent them properly.
Key responsibilities: - Driving new business opportunities through personal networks, existing company relationships, leads, market information and with the management team
- Executing effective communication through both in person and written communications including presenting solutions and services
- Strategically map the market and properly approach new business opportunities with the support of the business but directed by you
- Market and brand the business well within new sectors and the new market
- Be comfortable talking about services and understanding customer pain points to effectively identitfy new opportunities
- Put together presentations, proposals and costings
Experience: - Track record of delivering sales in Cyber Security vendors or managed services providers is highly demanded
- Passion for sales and selling services to various customer types
- Ability to approach stakeholders and build relationships effectively
- Understanding of the cyber security landscape particularly network security
- Knowing how to partner with key vendors and how to be commercially savvy
- Knowledge in working with marketing teams to effectively get the right message to the market
