Our client is a globally recognised cyber security organisation delivering advanced security products and capabilities to government, defence and intelligence customers worldwide.

This role sits within an elite engineering team focused on transforming advanced cyber security research into operational capabilities and commercial products. Working alongside experienced security researchers and engineers, you will tackle some of the most complex technical challenges in cyber security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance and support advanced cyber security capabilities and products
• Conduct reverse engineering, vulnerability analysis and technical research activities
• Collaborate with researchers to mature proof-of-concept capabilities into production-ready solutions
• Analyse emerging threats, vulnerabilities and attack techniques
• Contribute to software development, testing and product enhancement activities
• Provide technical support and guidance across engineering initiatives

About You:

• Strong software engineering background with experience in low-level development
• Experience with reverse engineering, vulnerability research, malware analysis or offensive security
• Strong programming skills in C, C++ or similar languages
• Familiarity with Linux, mobile platforms or operating system internals
• Experience using modern development tools and version control systems
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and work effectively within highly technical teams
• Current security clearance ideally NV1 or higher. 

Highly regarded experience includes exploit development, mobile security, reverse engineering, offensive cyber operations or capability development within defence, intelligence or specialist cyber security environments.
