About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to join a cross-functional engineering team working on secure, high-performance systems in the cyber security space.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in building, automating, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports critical software products. You'll contribute to everything from deployment pipelines to performance monitoring — helping ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain infrastructure across on-prem and containerised environments
- Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines, supporting fast and reliable software delivery
- Work closely with development teams to support deployment, testing, and release practices
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability; respond to incidents and root cause issues
- Contribute to system architecture discussions and ongoing improvement of engineering workflows
- Create and maintain documentation for processes, installations, and troubleshooting
- Participate in capacity planning, platform management, and automation initiatives
What You’ll Bring - A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong background in infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices
- Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift
- Familiarity with cloud or on-prem environments using VMs and container orchestration
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, Java)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, version control, and monitoring platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within technical teams
- A proactive mindset, with a focus on stability, performance, and continuous improvement
- Australian Citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility)
- Willingness to obtain NV1 Security Clearance (sponsorship available if required)
Nice to Have: - Experience in cyber security or high-assurance environments
- Exposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Familiarity with incident response, SRE practices, or large-scale systems support
