Decipher Bureau is looking for an experienced recruitment professional to lead and grow our Secure Technology Transformation practice in Brisbane.

Since 2014, we've built one of Australia's most respected specialist recruitment businesses across cyber security and technology risk.

As technology has evolved, so have we.

We're increasingly partnering with clients across project delivery, change, cloud, infrastructure, architecture, data, AI and broader technology transformation – and we're looking for someone to lead the growth of this market.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to build a significant recruitment practice within an established specialist business – without having to start from scratch.

You'll take ownership of an established portfolio of Queensland Government and Government Owned Corporation relationships, supported by our position on one of Queensland's largest technology recruitment panels.

You'll also have access to existing enterprise relationships, an established contractor portfolio, inbound opportunities and the support of an experienced national team.

From that platform, you'll have the autonomy to build.

Develop new clients. Expand existing relationships. Identify new markets. Grow your contractor portfolio. And, as the practice develops, build a specialist recruitment team around you.

What You'll Do

You'll take ownership of the growth of our Secure Technology Transformation practice, including:

• Leading and growing our Queensland Government and GOC relationships
• Developing new and existing government and enterprise clients
• Maximising opportunities through our established technology recruitment panel
• Building long-term relationships with senior technology stakeholders
• Recruiting specialist permanent and contract technology professionals
• Growing a sustainable and profitable recruitment portfolio
• Identifying new capability areas and market opportunities
• Building a specialist team as the practice grows

Your market will span areas including:

• Project & Program Delivery
• Business Analysis
• Change Management
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Cloud & Infrastructure
• Architecture
• Data & AI

About You:

We're looking for an experienced agency recruitment professional who knows how to build a market, develop senior client relationships and turn opportunity into sustainable revenue.

You'll ideally bring:

• A successful background in agency recruitment
• Strong business development and account management capability
• Experience recruiting technology professionals or within an adjacent specialist market
• Experience working with government, enterprise or complex client environments
• Confidence engaging senior executives and developing trusted relationships
• A strong commercial mindset and track record of building business
• The ambition to take ownership of a market and grow something significant

You don't need to have recruited across every technology discipline we cover.

What's more important is that you understand how to build a specialist market, develop relationships and create a successful recruitment business around it.
