The Decipher Bureau is partnering exclusively with a multi-award winning IT & Telco solution provider who’ve become a partner of choice over the past 20 years in the Australian medium/large enterprise market.
The business has existing service lines covering; mobility, data networks, cloud, managed services, collaboration (unified comms) and now looking to accelerate their network security and architecture overlay solutions.
With the rapidly changing fixed/mobile network space and many businesses evaluating SD WAN/edge computing solution the Principal Network Security Architect will conceptualise and deliver network security solutions whilst working closely with the Pre-Sales, Product and Engineering teams. Effectively a blank canvas to formulate and design proposals, SOW’s, plus design and security governance of network and cloud services for existing clients.
To be considered for this role, you will need an extensive overall understanding of IP and security within a MSP and large enterprise IT environment and demonstrated experience implementing architecture to support Cyber Security Essentials Plus, ISO27001 and PCI-DSS. An appreciation for fixed/mobile & data centre networks, the security threat landscape and relevant security mitigations.
SIEM exposure and the ability to define network security architectural principles and policy governing their implementation (NGFW, ZTNA, EDR, NAC, CASB etc.). Ideally you will also have obtained one or more of the following industry certifications in IP networking and security (eg. CCIE, CISM, CRISC).
