About the Role We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the Cyberspace Operations Systems Program Office (COSPO) in delivering critical information warfare systems that support ADF cyber operations. Working within a SAFe Agile environment, you will guide high-performing teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, and support continuous improvement across the program.
This role works closely with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, PMO stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes across complex Defence projects. Domestic and international travel may be required, with flexible/remote arrangements considered on a case-by-case basis.
Key Highlights
- Lead Agile Scrum delivery within a complex Defence SAFe portfolio supporting cyber capability outcomes
- Drive sprint planning, PI planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Product Managers, RTEs, PMO, and technical teams to maximise delivery flow and predictability
About You You will bring prior Defence or Defence Industry experience together with strong Agile delivery expertise and stakeholder engagement skills. You will have experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing Agile metrics, maintaining JIRA hygiene, and supporting high-performing cross-functional teams within a SAFe environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or relevant Agile qualifications
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or Agile Team Coach in a SAFe environment
- Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices, JIRA administration, and SDLC processes
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Minimum NV1 Security Clearance required

- Leading SAFe® certification
- PRINCE2 Agile, PMBOK, or other Project Management qualifications
- Previous Defence or Defence Industry experience
