- Do you have a reputation for being a transformative cyber security architect who effectively leads risk assessments, design and solutions in large complex enterprise environments?
- As a skilled communicator can you naturally articulate complex technical designs and concepts into plain English to business stakeholders?
- Have you built a strong working knowledge of cloud security principals and design (AWS/Azure) as it relates to digital, cloud, IT solutions and/or OT environments?
If so, this highly visible role with our enterprise client is worth considering.
This organisation continues its exciting digital transformation, driving value to their customers, assets and industry supply chain alike. As a result, the focus on effect cyber security risk management and controls continues to grow.
As the Senior Security Advisor, you will drive security architectural reviews/recommendations to best practice standards (SABSA, TOGAF), review multiple security related engagements and triage them proactively with the team. Equally, you will assist the business to understanding the severity of security risks and the remediation activities that could follow.
You understand attack vectors and how to design and articulate security controls to protect against them. Lead 3rd party assessments (MSPs & vendors) and have a solid understanding of GRC fundamentals and principals (ISO27001, NIST). However, this is by no means a GRC role - this is a broad technical role as it relates to cyber security.
Importantly, as all workloads have moved to the cloud (AWS/Azure), cloud design and security reviews form a critical component of this role with any cloud certs (AWS/Azure) highly regarded.
