Senior DevOps Engineer | Cyber Security | Sydney | Melbourne Specialist cyber security company building products for law enforcement and critical infrastructure is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join their engineering team.
This isn’t generic DevOps. You’ll be working on products deployed in national security contexts, with real stakes, interesting problems, and a team where your contribution is actually visible.
What you’ll be doing: - Managing on-prem and containerised infrastructure (VMs, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines, deployment, test automation, and build management
- Providing tier 2/3 technical support, including code walkthroughs and root cause analysis
- Deploying and supporting products in the field with end users
- Analysing system metrics for performance tuning and fault finding
- Collaborating directly with software engineers on delivery and release quality
What you need: - Hands-on experience with containers: Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar
- Solid CI/CD experience: You’ve built or meaningfully improved a pipeline
- Programming ability in Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or JavaScript
- Strong communicator who can document clearly and work across teams
- A proactive mindset, you spot problems before they become incidents
- Australian citizenship (security clearance eligibility is mandatory)
