Software Engineer with AI expertise to join a product-driven team working at the intersection of advanced engineering and cyber security.
In this role, you'll design and develop intelligent, scalable systems and play a key part in shaping the integration of AI across secure software products. You’ll collaborate closely with solution architects and engineers on high-impact, real-world systems.

Key Responsibilities - Design and develop robust software systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security
- Apply AI/ML techniques to enhance automation and intelligence across product features
- Work with solution architects and senior engineers on technical strategy and implementation
- Analyse and translate complex requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor junior developers and support collaborative engineering culture
- Troubleshoot, optimise, and contribute to continuous product improvement
- Keep up with emerging technologies in AI, software architecture, and secure development
Who We’re Looking For (and Why You Might Be It) - Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- 5+ years in software development and architectural design
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and distributed systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Willingness to obtain NV1 Security Clearance (sponsored if required)
Nice to Have - Experience in cyber security, government, or defence-grade environments
- Exposure to DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised applications
- Interest or background in automation, data analytics, or system performance engineering
