They work with telecommunications providers and government agencies on complex, mission-critical solutions. They're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join their growing Product Test team in Sydney, providing test leadership across a diverse range of engineering applications within their portfolio.

The Role
As a Test Engineer, you'll be a key part of the Project Delivery team, assisting the Test Manager by providing test leadership for projects being delivered across the engineering portfolio. You'll need a strong technical understanding, solid teamworking skills, and excellent communication.
What You'll Be Doing - Execute the test program associated with the assigned project(s)
- Plan, resource, and document testing activities
- Help develop test programs to meet project and product needs, and prove compliance to specifications
- Utilise tools and equipment involved in performance monitoring
- Prepare reports and analyses setting out progress and adverse trends
- Produce and manage the Requirement Traceability and Verification Matrix (RTVM)
- Deploy and maintain multiple project solutions/systems
- Maintain positive client interactions
- Look for opportunities to improve test approaches and leverage automation to increase efficiency
- Liaise with our systems and software engineers on problem resolution
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement and business efficiency
What You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Telecommunications, Software, or IT (or equivalent industry experience)
- 10+ years' experience in telecommunications, software, and/or design, development and test of complex software-based solutions
- Solid understanding of networking and distributed computing environment concepts
- Demonstrated experience in system Verification & Validation (V&V)
- Ability to determine whether a problem is caused by hardware, operating system software, application software, or network failures
- Good knowledge of security and encryption
- Demonstrated ability to use standard software development, support, and office tools
Essential Requirement - Eligibility for Australian Security Clearance (Australian citizenship mandatory)
