Do you enjoy the technical side of cyber security but find yourself increasingly drawn towards solution design, stakeholder engagement and helping clients solve complex problems?
We're partnering with a globally recognised cyber security consultancy that is looking to hire a Senior Solution Architect as part of a significant global investment into its Sales Engineering and Solutions Architecture function.
This isn't a traditional architecture role.
The hiring team are particularly interested in professionals who have come from offensive security, penetration testing or cyber consulting backgrounds and can combine deep technical credibility with strong communication and commercial skills.
You'll be the person sitting with clients, understanding their environment, discussing risks and challenges, designing solutions, shaping engagements and presenting recommendations to senior technical and executive stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
• Leading technical discovery workshops with enterprise clients
• Designing cyber security solutions across consulting and managed services
• Scoping and shaping penetration testing, offensive security and cyber consulting engagements
• Producing proposals, statements of work and technical solution documentation
• Working closely with sales and delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes
• Presenting solutions to CISOs, security leaders and executive stakeholders
• Acting as a trusted advisor throughout the client lifecycle
What We're Looking For
• Background in penetration testing, offensive security, cyber consulting or security architecture
• Experience engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders
• Strong understanding of modern cyber security principles and technologies
• Ability to design solutions rather than simply coordinate technical teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Commercial awareness and consulting mindset
Highly Regarded
• CISSP, CISM or similar certifications
• Presales or sales engineering experience
• Experience writing proposals, RFPs or statements of work
• Exposure to cloud security, security operations or managed security services
• Consulting or professional services experience
