You'll join a team responsible for integrating complex defence technologies and ensuring they meet strict accreditation and certification standards.
Your work will sit at the intersection of engineering, cyber, and governance - helping ensure that systems are safe, secure, and compliant for use in critical defence missions.
You'll be responsible for maintaining key cybersecurity documentation, advising on system security requirements, and collaborating with technical teams to integrate ICT security into the broader engineering framework. This is not just a technical writing job, it's a hands on engineering role where your decisions and insights will shape outcomes at the national level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain security artefacts (SRMP, SOPs, Security Classification Guides)
- Contribute to ICT system integration planning and technical risk assessments
- Align all outputs with DSPF and ISM standards for accreditation
- Collaborate with broader engineering and safety teams on secure system certification
- Support updates to ICT security architecture and design documentation
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in systems engineering within a secure or classified environment
- Knowledge of DSPF, ISM, and Defence cyber accreditation frameworks
- Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders across technical and governance domains
- Ability to write, update, and manage complex technical documentation
- NV1 clearance is a must - we cannot accept applications without it
