We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to help uplift and secure our clients on-prem Active Directory and Entra environment. This role suits someone who enjoys diving deep into directory services, improving security posture, and turning audit recommendations into practical, scalable solutions.
What you will be doing - Reviewing existing audit findings and recommendations across Active Directory and Entra tenancy
- Developing scripts to audit directories and automate checks against recommendations
- Building alerting to identify emerging priority issues
- Designing processes and procedures to maintain directories in line with security requirements
- Performing and developing risk assessments where recommendations cannot be applied
- Reviewing ISM controls and assessing their applicability
- Auditing AD and Entra environments for compliance
- Developing work packages and estimates to implement ISM controls
- Implementing approved work packages
- Creating risk assessments for unapproved packages and developing mitigating controls where appropriate
What you bring - Strong experience with Active Directory and Entra (Azure AD)
- Solid understanding of audit, compliance, and security governance frameworks
- Hands-on PowerShell scripting skills for automation and auditing
- Ability to interpret and implement ISM controls
- Experience developing procedures, documentation, and risk assessments
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently
